hibView 1.0 beta10 and hibLib 1.0 beta2
New versions of hibView and hibLib are available. They fix some bugs that have been reported. I would like to thank people who took the time to test and further more to fix the bugs of hibView and hibLib.
I have also added some new features using the horizontal scrolling: you can horizontally scroll now if a mathematical expression is larger than the screen, or you can avoid the width limit (to change the options, use F5 in the files explorator).

Great work Hibou… But at this moment i use HibText because it is very very sable under V200 AMS 3.10. Why you do not develop HibText instead of Hibview? Is only a sugestion… i love this program!
I have blank screens after exit Hibview, even using nostub version by Kevin!
I done all… with PreOS, without PreOS… but blank screen is there after exit.
I cant change contrast after that blank screen… only way 2nd+Lock+on
I Know is still in developing…
You are the man Hibou, many people in Portugal use HibText, HibView.

For the blank screen, several people are repporting this bug. I will work on that.
About hibText, let’s talk about the history. The first soft has the name hibText. Than I developed it more and more, and it was renamed hibView (the 0.1 version). But I was not satisfied by the architecture of hibView/hibText. So I started to rewrite it and let hibView 0.1 as it was. But it was more bugged than hibText, so I let the hibText version online. Now I have a good software I think, but it only needs tests and debugging. So I prefer the users to feed back about the new hibView 1.0.

I use HibText a long time ago… I know very well your great work, but is the first time i contact with you. I discovered your programs surfing de web and this years i’m using it and suggested to my friends here in Portugal. If i can do something for you i will do because you helpped me a lot. Also very thanks to Vity, developer of WordRider. HibView for TI + WordRider for PC = TI RULEZ
I have translated PCTools v0.98B by Benoit for Portuguese people, and now i offer me to translate your great program for my native language. For Portugal, Brasil…

I will continue testing HibView 1.0_beta10, and here my sugestion:
-An option to hide/show variables like PRGM,ASM,MAT,DATA… we can see all variables or only TEXT,PIC,STR, the variables and formats supported by HibView.
-Speed of menus like HibText and HibView 0.1
-Speed of scrolling like HibText and HibView 0.1
-An option, how i can explain… when we use a File Manager like PCT, we open a TEXT for example and when we press ESC, HibView go to menu program, but surely you can do the Hibview go to menu or exit when we press ESC. Is like HibText and HibView 0.1 option. I think you did understand my english
For now, these are my suggestions for your wonderful program.
I want translate this program for more and more people use it… and is my small contribute to you Hibou.
The translation will be good, because is technical English to translate.

And for the suggestion you made, these functionnalities are already available, it just need the integration in the UI in hibView.

I will translate “readme.html” for PT full support
And other thing, tu peu écrire en français quand tu parles avec moi Nic. Je ne sais pa si j’ecrit better français ou anglais. Sometimes when i miss some words, j’ecrit français/anglais!!!. This is really strange. At this moment i’m writing FRANGLISH.
I’ts a kind of a new language.
Btw, hibOu if you do any improvement, let me know please, or if you need help in something… you know!

hi i installed the HibView ( from ticalc.org) and somehow i can see the initial screen ( my initial picture ) but when i try to scroll it down its all becomes “dirty” and unclear …does someone knows how to solve this ?
ps
can you please explain how to install this program from here in more details…… sorry its just i’m new to this calculator and its platform

i cant scroll on big pictures its just shows part of it on the screen ….
is there any solution ?
